Do you want to get out into nature? And do you want to ride to Paris on gravel roads and small forest paths? Then Team Rynkeby Gravel might be for you.
Team Rynkeby Gravel combines the classic Team Rynkeby community experience with an extraordinary nature experience. On Team Rynkeby Gravel, you'll ride to Paris on small gravel roads and forest trails - areas that few recreational cyclists ever get close to. You'll ride special Team Rynkeby gravel bikes fra Bianchi in the usual yellow colour. The bike is similar to a racing bike, but with wider tyres and a more robust frame to handle the rough terrain that awaits the Team Rynkeby Gravel team.
An international team
Team Rynkeby Gravel is currently an international team that brings together exercise bike riders from all Team Rynkeby countries. So be prepared for a lot of the training to be done alone, and when you gather to ride to Paris, the official team language will be English.
A mandatory training camp will be organised in early spring, bringing the team together from all over Europe for the first time. The training camp is not included in the price and will be added to the participation fee.
Information meeting on 14 August 2025
Please note: There will be an online information meeting on 14 August where interested riders can learn more about the project. There will be a link to sign up on this page later.
7 stages in rough terrain
The tour to Paris is spread over seven stages and starts in the south of Belgium. Via gravel roads and forest tracks, we cross the Ardennes in both Belgium and northern France. From here we head towards the Champagne region and on towards Paris along the Marne River. The stages are typically shorter than on the classic Team Rynkeby tour - on the other hand, the terrain is somewhat more impassable.
Team Rynkeby has carefully selected the hotels for Team Rynkeby Gravel, and we stay in comfortable hotels with at least three stars, where we gather for a communal dinner and start the day with a hearty breakfast. The camaraderie and fun along the way is just as important as the practicalities, and you become part of an unforgettable trip for everyone.
Want to be part of the service team?
Of course, the tour is not just for cyclists. Volunteers are also needed for our service crew. Team Rynkeby Gravel will be accompanied by around 8 helpers who, among other things, make sure that food is available at the depots, repair bikes and generally ensure that the tour runs smoothly. If you would like to be part of the service crew, simply select "Service" under "Application detail" when writing your application.
