Why do we do it?

I participate on Team Rynkeby Admin because I want to help make a difference and raise money for critically ill children. At the same time, I see it as an obvious opportunity to share this great experience with my sister who participates on the same team. We both look forward to the countless hours on our bikes, and especially the party when we arrive in Paris this summer.

Meet the team

Practical Information

Training

Team Rynkeby Admin usually trains with a starting point in the area around Odense. However, we always have a regular trip once a year to the hills in Vejle and a weekend trip to Jutland of about 550 km.

In the autumn, Team Rynkeby Admin will start up with “cycling school”. This is to get all the new riders introduced to training on road bikes and riding in groups.

We train about every 2nd weekend from October to March, in a good combination of spinning and training on the road.

When the Team Rynkeby bikes are delivered in March, there are 2 training sessions a week, one weekday and one weekend session. We are doing this to be completely ready for the trip to Paris in July.

After all, it's more fun to ride with surplus than having to fight on the bike down through Europe.

Important Dates

Join us for a chat about what it is like to be a participant in Europe's biggest sports charity project: Team Rynkeby.

We will go on a short bike ride where everyone is welcome no matter their shape or equipment. Afterwards, you will be introduced to our amazing "trunk"-concept where we will host snacks and drinks.

It is free to participate, you just need to sign up with an e-mail to Team Manager Linnea at admin@team-rynkeby.com no later than the 7th of June.

If you have an interesting profile that matches our team, we will invite you to an information meeting. This will allow you to learn more about the project and get an idea of who the Team Rynkeby family is. This also gives us the opportunity to get to know you more.

If you will apply to become part of our team you can already mark the 14th of September on your calendar.

One of our big events in Team Rynkeby Admin is the Team Rynkeby School Run, where we engage with nearby schools to arrange a school run to raise money for critically ill children.

It is therefore important that all team members have the opportunity to participate in the project in some form or way.

In season 2023 the Team Rynkeby School Run is on the 8th of April 2023.

As a prelude to the Paris trip in the summer, we celebrate a prolog on the 8th of July 2023.
